Migration services

Migration decisions outlast the visa

Migration and settlement support, with attention to the education and employment consequences that follow the visa decision.

IWhat we do

Three things, done properly.

i

Visa pathways

Understanding which pathway actually fits, including when the honest answer is that none currently does.

ii

Skills assessment

The credential recognition and skills assessment that most skilled pathways turn on.

iii

Settlement

Employment, study and recognition once the visa is granted, which is where the real difficulty usually starts.

We work alongside registered migration agents

Immigration assistance in Australia is a regulated activity. Where a matter requires a registered migration agent or a lawyer, we say so and refer rather than advise.

IIWhat goes wrong

The two failures we see most.

We publish these because most of the value in hiring anyone is knowing which mistakes are common, and that knowledge is not worth hiding.

Qualification assumed to transfer

An overseas qualification is not automatically recognised. Assessment by the relevant authority is a separate process with its own timeline.

Advice from people without standing

Immigration advice in Australia is regulated. Taking it from an unregistered adviser puts the application at risk, not just the fee.

IIIHow we work

We tell you what we find.

Including when the answer is that you do not need what you came to ask for. Anyone who never says that is not giving you information, they are giving you an invoice.

Scope

Where something needs a legal opinion, a financial audit or a clinical judgement, we will say so and stop rather than improvise past the edge of what we do.

Start a conversation.

Tell us the situation rather than the service you think you need. We would rather start from your problem.
