Cookies Policy
We use optional Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used, and only if you accept. Nothing from Google Analytics loads until you choose Accept, and declining changes nothing about how you can use the site.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website can store in your browser; browsers can also keep small settings in local storage. This policy explains what immiworldwide.group, operated by Career Calling International Pty Ltd for Immi Worldwide, stores and why.
Optional analytics
- Your choice comes first. When you first visit, a notice asks you to Accept or Decline analytics. Until you accept, Google consent settings stay at "denied" for analytics and advertising storage and Google Analytics does not load.
- What it collects if you accept. Google Analytics 4 records the pages you view, how you reach and move through the site, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city or region level). It does not collect your name, and it does not collect what you type into our forms or tools.
- Cookies it sets. After you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell visits apart.
- Who receives it. The data goes to Google, which may process it in the United States and other countries where it operates. We use it only to see which pages help people and to improve the site; we do not use it for advertising.
- How long it is kept. Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, after which Google deletes it.
- Declining has no effect on using any page, tool or form on the site.
Other storage
- Your analytics choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (under the key caqa-analytics-choice-v1) so we do not ask again on every page.
- Your first 30 days ticks, if you tick items on that checklist, are kept in your browser's local storage (under the key immi-ticks-first-30-days) so they are still there when you come back. They never leave your device; clear this site's data to remove them.
- The site's tools (topic finder, occupation finder, support finder and checklists) run in your browser memory only. Your answers and ticks are not stored or sent.
- Server logs record standard request details, such as IP address and pages requested, to keep the site secure. See our Privacy Policy.
Third-party resources
- Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com) supplies the typefaces. Your browser requests the font files from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details as part of that request.
- The CAQA family menu at the top of each page is loaded from caqagroups.com.au, another CAQA group site, so you can find related group services. It is not used for advertising.
Your choices
To change your analytics choice, clear the stored choice by deleting this site's data (cookies and local storage) in your browser settings; the notice will appear again on your next visit. You can also block or delete cookies at any time. The site works fully whatever you choose.
