Who we are

This policy applies to Immi Worldwide and the website immiworldwide.group. Immi Worldwide is operated by Career Calling International Pty Ltd (ABN 53 162 651 238), part of the CAQA group ("we", "us"). We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Immi Worldwide gives general migration information and settlement support. It does not give immigration assistance. Visa matters are referred, with your consent, to Sukh Sandhu, Registered Migration Agent, MARN 1384130, of The Immigration Worldwide Pty Ltd, who handles your information under their own privacy obligations and the Code of Conduct for registered migration agents once you deal with the agent.

What we collect

We collect only what we need to answer you and, if you ask, to refer you or arrange training or recognition services (APP 3). This usually means:

  • your name, email address and phone number;
  • the situation you describe, the closest situation you select, your country of citizenship and whether you are in or outside Australia;
  • records of our emails and calls with you.

Some of what you tell us about your migration history may be sensitive. Please do not send passport numbers, identity documents or health information through the website form. If such documents are needed later, you will be asked for them securely.

The topic finder on our home page runs entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us or stored.

How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you: through the enquiry form, by email or by phone. We do not buy contact lists. If someone else gives us information about you, for example a family member making an enquiry, we handle it under this policy and may let you know we hold it (APP 5).

The website records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working. With your consent only, we also use Google Analytics 4; see "Optional analytics" below and our Cookies Policy. We do not use advertising tracking.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, to give general information, to refer you to a registered migration agent when you ask us to, to arrange CAQA group training or recognition services you request, and to keep a record of our dealings with you (APP 6). We do not use it for marketing unless you ask to hear from us, and you can opt out at any time. We never sell personal information.

Who we share it with

  • The registered migration agent, only with your consent, when you ask to be referred: Sukh Sandhu, Registered Migration Agent, MARN 1384130, of The Immigration Worldwide Pty Ltd.
  • CAQA group businesses that provide the training or recognition services you ask about, only for that purpose.
  • Service providers who host our website and email, under confidentiality obligations.
  • Others where the law requires or allows it.

Overseas disclosure

Your details are likely to be stored or processed overseas. Our website and its enquiry forms are hosted on a server located in Singapore, and our email is provided by Google, which may store data in the United States and other countries where it operates. We take reasonable steps for overseas providers to handle personal information consistently with the APPs (APP 8). We do not otherwise send personal information overseas unless you ask us to, for example to contact someone on your behalf.

Storage and retention

Enquiry, call back and booking records are stored on secured systems with access limited to the people who need them (APP 11). Immi Worldwide keeps these records for 2 years after our last contact with you, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. After that they are deleted or de-identified.

If you are referred, the registered migration agent keeps their own client records, for at least 7 years after the last action on a file, as the Code of Conduct requires.

Optional analytics

If you choose Accept on the analytics notice, Google Analytics 4 collects the pages you view, your device and browser type and your approximate location. It does not collect your name or anything you type into our forms or tools. Nothing from Google Analytics loads until you accept, and declining has no effect on using the site.

The data goes to Google, which may process it in the United States and other countries where it operates, and is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account. Your choice is stored in your browser; to change it, clear this site's stored data (cookies and local storage) in your browser settings and choose again.

Referral to the registered agent

Our forms have a separate box, unticked by default: "Pass my enquiry to Sukh Sandhu, Registered Migration Agent, MARN 1384130, of The Immigration Worldwide Pty Ltd." We pass your name, contact details and message to the agent only if you tick it, or if you ask us to in writing or by phone. The agent then handles your information under the agent's own privacy obligations and the Code of Conduct.

Automated decisions and AI

No computer program makes or substantially informs decisions about you on this site. The topic finder, occupation finder, support finder and checklists run only in your browser: they show published information, decide nothing about you, and send nothing to us. Optional analytics measures page use only and is not used to make decisions about anyone. We do not enter your personal details into artificial intelligence tools without your written consent.

Testimonials and client stories

We publish a client story or testimonial only with the client's written consent, in the client's own words, unedited in meaning, with no payment or other incentive, and with the date of consent shown. You can withdraw consent at any time and we will remove the story. We never remove fair negative reviews.

Data breaches

If a data breach is likely to result in serious harm to you, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires, and tell you what we are doing about it.

Access and correction

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it (APPs 12 and 13). Email the Privacy Officer at complaints@careercalling.com.au. We respond within 30 days and do not charge for a request. If we refuse, we will tell you why in writing.

Privacy complaints

Please write to the Privacy Officer at complaints@careercalling.com.au. We acknowledge complaints within 5 business days and aim to respond in writing within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with its effective date.
